Sarah Hurley DT Card

Oops sorry I thought I had posted this on Thursday and it went to the wrong blog!

Wow I can't believe how quickly the week has gone and we are now here at my 2nd week on the Sarah Hurley DT team.

This weeks Sarah Hurley challenge was masking and oh my I did find it a challenge. I used the 2 deers from Sarah's stamp set. As my printer was broken I couldnt print out any papers so I have gone for a monochrome look and used card from stash.

I stamped the small deer first and then masked it and stamped the large deer over the top. Stamped sentiment with gold pigment ink and embossed with kaleidoscope embossing powder, then added some ribbon from stash.

Hope you like my efforts to join the challenge pop over to the Sarah Hurley Challenge Blog.

One Card Fits All

My second offering tonight is one of the few Christmas cards I have made this year although it is an order so doesnt get me any further on mine! I have used another Lili Of The Valley stamp for this one.

Image is coloured with promarkers and prismas, hat and bottom of coat I added 3d gloss and glamour dust to add texture. Papers are a freebie from Papermania when I subscribed to a magazine very traditional. Card and sentiments from stash, sentiment is Lili Of The Valley.

I have entered this card in the following challenges;

Sketch Saturday - sketch
Paper Play Challenges - Let It Snow
A Spoonful Of Sugar - distressing

Hope you like it.

First Anniversary

Not posted for a few days but have still been making things, so here is the first of my offerings!!

I was asked to make an anniversary card with a black and gold theme so here goes.

The base card is actually a matt gold but it looks silver on here! I wanted to try and get a good picture of the black roses , they look like velvet even though they are paper. I stamped the image and embossed with black sparkle embossing powder, embossed card with cuttlebug folder, ribbon etc from stash.

I have entered this card into the following challenge;

eat, sleep, stamp
- sketch #109

Thanks for looking.

Grandma Image

How are you all tonight? I am sat here with tissue round my thumb as I have hacked a chunk out of it and have no plasters but despite all that I still have a card to show you.

I saw this stamp at NEC and the sentiment said Grandmas are just antique little girls, I havent used the sentiment as the card is for my mother in law but I adore the image anyway. I am going to add the sentiment "age is just a number" so I hope she will like it.

I have coloured the image with promarkers and prisma pencils, the sentiment is LOTV, charms are from Mei Flower, all the other bits from stash.

I have entered this card in the following challenges:

Sketch Saturday - sketch
Paper Sundaes - punches, ribbon, embossing, blue (atleast 2 of these)

I hope you like it and thanks for looking.

Well for once I am showing you a card that I am not entering into any challenges! I am showing this on because it was a toughy for me.
