Let's Ink It Up Announcement

Hi everyone,

Sorry not been around much lately, I am under consultation at work with the risk of being made redundant so lots going on.

Anyway I am really excited to announce a new feature on Let's Ink It Up in a bid to give something back to their loyal followers.

Every two weeks they will host a FEATURED STAMPER SPOT whoohoo

Do you want be featured on LIIU??

If you do all you have to do is be a follower of LIIU, get the word out there about the Featured Stamper Spot via your blog, remember you must use rubber/clear stamps in your featured project. You don't need to create a new project.

But remember they do not feature digi projects.

That's it, pretty easy isn't it.

If you want to be a Featured Stamper just email Suzanne,to register your interest and she will then send you the interview questions, you return the questions, along with your pic and a link to the post you would like featured.

Can 't wait to see everyones links.

Have fun!!

Sisters Birthday

Good Evening All,

Hope you have all had a lovely weekend. Well things here are pretty hectic and horrendous at the minute but I did make the effort and went to the Crafty Devils meet and managed to actually make some cards.

This one is for my sisters birthday and is using the Kenny K image Download Diva, you may have noticed I have used this a bit but I do love her.

The image is coloured with pro markers, papers are from a trimcraft pack I bought donkeys ago. Sentiment stamp is LOTV. Flowers and pearls from Wild Orchid Crafts. Embossed panel is embossed with cuttlebug folder and coloured with distress inks.

I have entered this card into the following challenges:

Kenny K Krafty Girlz Challenge - lace, ribbons and bows
Friday Sketchers Challenge - sketch
Totally Gorjuss - pearls and lace

Here is a close up of the image.............

Hope you like her and thanks again for looking.

Thinking Of You

Hi everyone.

Well I was giving a tough order today for a card for a lady who is starting chemo for breast cancer on Monday. Her boss wanted a card that didnt trivialise what she had but also didnt pretend it wasnt happening.

I got the cure for Katie images from Stamp Insanity and this is what I came up with.

I stayed with pink as it is the breast cancer colour, I coloured the image with pro markers. Papers are old bits from my bit box lol. Flowers and pins from Wild Orchid Crafts. Doilie and lace from stash too. Image and sentiment from Stamp Insanity.

I have entered this card into the following challenges:

The Sweet Stop - sketch
Digis with attitude - anything goes
Stamp Something - use a digi
Tellen's Place - embellish, embellish, embellish (atleast 2 embellies)

Would love to know what you think? Have I gone too cheesy or is it sensitive enough?

Thanks for looking!

Inky Impressions, the winner will receive 2 stamp of their choice and a goodie bag.

I used the Sugar Nellie stamp "JOY" I thought she was so adorable and I love her even more now she is coloured.

I didnt use any dp on this card but I did use a Marianne embossing stencil which I sponged with distress inks to make a backgeound. The panels are embossed using the cuttlebug and edged with distress inks. Flowers are from Wild orchid Crafts, pins from stash. Image coloured with promarkers cool greys 1- 5.

Here is a close up of the image.................

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
