Visit to Crafty Shell

Well hello there,

I have finally pulled myself away from chocolate, Baileys and True Movies and went to visit the dodgy scouser (Shell) in Scouseland! As usual she forced me to craft!

Anyway I actually decided to make a male card which is something I rarely choose to do and have pledged to try to make a Christmas card and a male card every month next year.

I used a Kenny K image, his digi stamps are great but unfortunately I dont have many of them.

I coloured the image with promarkers and papers from stash (cant remember whose they are), buttons from stash and ticket from Birmingham NEC in November.

I have entered this card in the following challenges:

Kenny K Challenge - distressing
Create4Fun - sketch

I hope you like tonights offering.

Thanks for looking.

Sarah Hurley DT Card

Hello everyone,

I hope it is cold enough for you! This week it was my turn to set the Sarah Hurley challenge and I attempted my own sketch.

The optional extra is to add a charm.

I used the Sarah Hurley vintage papers from the Christmas CD and her martini glass from her Christmas stamp set.

I added 3d gloss to the "liquid" but you can't see it very well in the photo.

Pop on over to the Sarah Hurley challenge blog and join in the fun.

Thanks for looking.

Same sketch and image different card

Well this second card I made with the same sketch from Friday Sketchers and used the same LOTV teddy but different papers and colours. Amazing how different it looks.

I haven't entered this card in any challenges but I thought I would show it to you anyway.

Image coloured with pro markers and prisma pencils. Flowers and papers etc from stash.

Thank you for popping by.....................

This evening I want to show you my first card with the Christmas teddy from LOTV, I have done the same sketch in two different colours using the same sketch. I will show you the other one later but this is the blue one.

I coloured the image using pro markers and prisma pencils. Snowflakes punched from Martha Stewart snowflake border punch, ribbon from stash. Papers I stole from my mate!!

I am entering this card in the folowing challenges:

Totally Gorjuss - snow

Trying to show you the glamour dust on the snoflakes, added Swarovski crystals to the centre.

Sarah Hurley DT Card

Well here we are at another Sarah Hurley challenge, I cant believe how quickly the weeks are going. I am in London right now so I hope that this post has displayed at the right time!

This weeks challenge is Christmas Decor, this can be either a decoration or a card depicting a Christmas decoration. I chose to depict a door wreath.

I used the argyle and stripe papers from the Winter Wonderland CD and the carol singers digi stamp and Noel ticket from the same CD.

I coloured the image with prisma pencils and buttons from stash. Finally I used the distressing technique.

Have added glitter to the wreath and the snow but not sure you san see it well.

If you would like to enter the challenge go to the Sarah Hurley Challenge blog, you dont have to use Sarah's designs to enter but ofcourse we will love you forever if you do.

Thanks for looking.
