Another attempt at distressing

Firstly please ignore the date on this post, I made the card today 8th August but coloured the image last week and started a post so I would remember which promarkers I used...............

Well hello all, I found some old papers that I wanted to use and so had to colour my image to match. As they are quite muted I had another go at distressing.

I also wanted some inspiration so I used the passion for promarkers sketch.

I hope you like it................

Pro markers used
face - pastel pink, pale pink, blush
Girls outfit - coral, soft green, tan, dusky pink
Boys outfit - putty, coral pink, tan
hair - shale, tan, putty

Everything else from stash, coloured ribbon with promarkers to get a match.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Passion for promarkers
- sketch
Sarah Hurley Challenge 3 - Romance (Little girl in love with her teddy)
Crafty Angels Challenge - something old and something new (papers old, promarkers new)

Here is a close up of the image.

Feel free to leave me a comment, hope you like.

Dare U 2 Digi Stamp Challenge

I wanted to make my son a birthday card and he is into quite dark goth type stuff so was quite stuck until I found this image from Kenny G.

Anyway I decided to combine it with the Dare U 2 Digi Stamp challenge which is a sketch this week, which I turned.

It is quite a different card for me as I usually use quite light colours and girlie stuff, so I hope you like it.

Paper and card from stash
Ribbon type stuff, coloured with promarkers
Image coloured with promarkers:
Hair: cool grey 3, 4,5
guitar: cyan
Dress: aegean blue
Face: blush and pale pink

As always would love to know what you think.
